Mount Pleasant Police Blotter: Assault, Vandalism

MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. - A minor from Hawthorne Cedar Knolls School was arrested by the Mount Pleasant Police Department for injuring another student on June 22. The student, 15, allegedly injured another student, which required immediate medical attention. The student was charged with assault and will be sent to family court

Two separate incidents late last week reported acts of graffiti in Thornwood to Mount Pleasant Police. On June 24, a resident on Warren Avenue reported graffiti damaging a wall of the residence. The very next day, a Warren Avenue resident reported graffiti damaging a resident's trailer. No arrests were made.

On June 24, a Pleasantville resident on Bear Ridge Road reported to their mailbox had been stolen. Earlier in the week, a Pleasantvile resident on Palmer Lane reported their mailbox had also been stolen on June 20. No arrests were made.
