Mount Pleasant Police Blotter: Larceny

VALHALLA, N.Y. – The Mount Pleasant Police Department responds to emergency calls throughout the town.  Here is a list of some relevant crime information from the past week.

On January 19, a resident working at an undisclosed business on Route 9A in Hawthorne reported that their wallet was stolen.  Detective Art Romain said that no arrest has been made, but that the investigation is ongoing and it is possible that it could be related to previous larcenies in the Hawthorne area.

The Mobil gas station in Hawthorne reported on January 23 that $50 worth of gas was stolen.  According to Romain, the individual was identified on surveillance footage as an average-sized white male in his late 30’s driving a gold Toyota Camry.  No arrest has been made.
