MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. The Mount Pleasant Police Department reported multiple arrests and crimes this week throughout town. The following items were reported by police:
On Oct. 15, Dennis Foamini, 32, of Milton, Del. was arrested and charged with assault, criminal mischief and harassment. Foamini allegedly got into a domestic dispute while visiting his family in Valhalla. He was arraigned in local court and sent to the Westchester County Jail where is being held without bail.
On Oct. 15, Nancy Romanchuck, 41, of Hawthorne was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana. Romanchucks arrest resulted from a routine traffic stop at 4 p.m., police said.
Mount Pleasant police charged two individuals on Oct. 17 with unlawful possession of marijuana. Earnest Tartaglione, 26, of Bedford and Thomas Bastardi, 26, of Pleasantville were both charged with the violation.
Two separate arrests were made in the past week for petty larceny at the Home Depot in Hawthorne.
Michael Rocco, 43, of Greenwich, and Ismet Hoxhaj, 51, of Mahopac, were both charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor, for allegedly stealing from the Home Depot in Hawthorne this week. According to police, Rocco stole merchandise for less than $1,000 from the store on Oct. 15. Police said Hoxhaj had been removing price tags from merchandise in the store and attempting to replace them with lesser priced tags on Oct. 18.
