New Book Sheds Light On Hillary Clinton's Thoughts On Bill's Sex Addiction

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Lucinda Franks will release a memoir that reveals she watered down comments from Chappaqua's Hillary Clinton that the former first lady thinks her husband Bill's sex addiction was the result of abuse from his mother as a child, according to the New York Daily News.

A soon-to-be-released memoir says Hillary Clinton believed her husband was addicted to sex because of abuse he suffered as a child.

Hillary Clinton made the comments to Franks just one year after the Monica Lewisnky scandal rocked the White House. Franks said she originally refocused the interview in 1999 with the former secretary of state away from Bill's abusive relationship with his mother and put the spotlight on the conflict between the president's mother and grandmother, the Daily News reported.

""Timeless: Love, Morgenthau and Me" is scheduled to be released next month, the Daily News said.
