WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A pair of accidents caused heavy delays on the southbound Taconic State Parkway on Thursday morning.
An accident blocked the right lane on a stretch of the Taconic in Mount Pleasant
The accident, reported at 7:15 a.m., was between Route 134 and Pleasantville Road.
It resulted in stop-and-go traffic for several miles north of the accident scene.
Further north, the left lane of the Taconic was blocked in Yorktown between Underhill Avenue and and Route 134 in an accident reported at 7:50 a.m. that also caused stop-and-go traffic.
