MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. – The Westlake Wildcats boys' soccer team battled Blind Brook High School to a 1-1 tie Monday night at Westlake High School in Thornwood.

Edgar Solis scored the only goal of the first half for Westlake to give them a 1-0 lead. The goal was assisted by Nick Scwartz. The Wildcats held the lead for the majority of the match before Blind Brook tied the game midway through the second half. Both teams went scoreless through an overtime period.

The Westlake Wildcats now hold a 2-3-1 record and will travel to Croton on Wednesday for their next matchup. The game is scheduled for a 1:30 p.m. start.
