The market has summer internships available for high school students beginning in late May.

“Setting up a bustling market with many tents, weekly events and up to 3,000 visitors falls on the shoulders of our capable managers, who for the last few years have been supported by a team of outstanding, energetic and responsible interns, who make the weekly operation of our market look much easier than it really is,” the market posted on the village website.

The Pleasantville Farmers Market is open downtown each Saturday from late-May to mid-October, with more than 50 local vendors setting up tents every week to form the largest farmers market in Westchester County.

Interns will work at least 12, four-hour shifts on Saturdays. Work includes setting up signs and tents, selling T-shirts, running music, taking surveys, leading kids' activities and helping visitors. Interested students can call the market at 914-205-4545 or email Executive Director of Marketing Operations Steve Bates at steven@pleasantvillefarmersmarket.org.
