Pleasantville Students Participate In Appalachian Service Project

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Appalachian Service Project (ASP) received the assistance of 42 teenagers and 17 adults from Pleasantville this July when they spent nine days in West Virginia rebuilding the homes of disadvantaged residents, reports The Examiner.

This year’s trip, which ended on July 13, had the biggest number of volunteers since the town began participating in the program in 1999, according to the report.
