VALHALLA, N.Y. Mount Pleasant Police reported that there was a pair of burglaries in Valhalla that they believe are related. At around 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Police Chief Louis Alagno said that it was reported that two homes on Overlook Drive were burglarized, in which an undisclosed amount of jewelry was stolen from each home while they were empty. Alagno said that both homes were entered by forced entry and that the incident is currently under investigation.

Auto Accident Arrest: At around 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Mount Pleasant Police reported they arrested an Ossining man on multiple charges stemming from a hit-and-run accident. Larry Branch, 21, was charged with driving with a suspended license and suspended registration, both misdemeanors. He was also charged with possession of marijuana, leaving the scene of a crime, and driving without insurance, all violations. Police said Branch was involved in a minor car accident with a resident in Valhalla and left the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was able to write down Branchs license plate and he was subsequently arrested.
Public Lewdness: Mount Pleasant Police said they arrested and charged a juvenile resident of the Pleasantville Cottage School with public lewdness. Police said the 14-year-old male exposed himself in front of the Hawthorne Post Office on the afternoon of March 30. He will be charged as a juvenile delinquent and the matter will be dealt with in family court.
Hair Product Theft: Mount Pleasant Police reported that on the afternoon of March 31, an individual entered the CVS in the Thornwood Shopping Center and stole $350 worth of Rogaine hair products. Police said the incident is under investigation and no arrest has been made.
