Terrence Fiorito says he was threatened by Stephen Kelly, husband of former Valhalla Superintendent Diane Ramos-Kelly, at a basketball tournament at the Westchester County Center in February 2010. Fiorito later sued Ramos-Kelly and her husband. That suit was settled, according to The Journal News.

Fiorito's lawsuit against DiFiore and some of her deputies alleges prosecution of Kelly for a harassment charge, a violation, was dropped after DiFiore ordered it to “go away.”

“This was standard practice in DiFiore’s office — she made sure to please the politically well-heeled, like Ramos-Kelly, by making sure that their friends and relatives did not suffer at the hands of her office, and she typically had George do the dirty work,” the suit says according to The Journal News.
