Report: Work Starts On Saw Mill Parkway To Avert Flooding

MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- Work began Oct. 19 on the area of the Saw Mill Parkway in Pleasantville prone to flooding, the Examiner reports.

The state Department of Transportation is closing a 900-foot stretch of the parkway between Bedford Road and Marble Avenue in Thornwood to raise the road bed and repave an exit ramp the article stated.
