THORNWOOD, N.Y. - State Sen. Greg Ball (R, C - Patterson) is hosting a barbecue Thursday at the Thornwood American Legion to meet with his new constituents from Mount Pleasant and New Castle.
After new redistricting maps were approved by Gov. Andrew Cuomo in March, Ball picked up the towns in the new Senate District 40. Ball will replace retiring Suzi Oppenheimer as New Castle's representative, and Andrea Stewart-Cousins as Mount Pleasant's representative.
During the meet-and-greet event, which begins at 7 p.m., residents will be able to take part in a question-and-answer session with Ball. The American Legion building is located at 52 Garrigan Ave.
