Several Accidents Occur Across County Highways

PELHAM, N.Y. – A slew of accidents occurred on Westchester County highways early Wednesday morning.

Two accidents occurred on I-87 near the Tappan Zee Bridge. An accident blocked the two left lanes of the New York State Thruway northbound between Exit 8/8A, Saw Mill River Parkway and Exit 9, Tarrytown. The other took place on I-87 southbound at the Tappan Zee Bridge toll barrier, according to the New York State Thruway Authority.

There were three accidents on Interstate 287 Wednesday morning. One occurred eastbound between Exit 1, Saw Mill River Parkway, and Exit 2, Saw Mill River Road. Another took place eastbound at Exit 5, Tarrytown and a third eastbound at Exit 11 in Port Chester.

An accident also occurred on Interstate 95 at northbound between Exit 22, Midland Avenue, and the Connecticut state line.
