The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Westchester residents regarding the residency of 34-year-old Jason Russo, who has reported an address change to an apartment on Columbia Street in Thornwood.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Russo a Level 3 threat, which means he is a “high-risk repeat offender and possible threat to public safety.”

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Russo promoted and possessed child porn in 2009 and was convicted of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child less than 16 years old the following year. He was sentenced to a term of 10 years probation and is now under the jurisdiction of the Mount Pleasant Town Police Department.
