MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. There are several events taking place in the Mount Pleasant area this weekend to enjoy with your family and friends. Some of these events can even help contribute to a noble cause. Here is a quick list of events taking place this weekend.
FRIDAY
Captain Lawrence Brewery Complimentary Tasting, 99 Castleton St., Pleasantville, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event is free.
Martha Marcy May Marlene screening and Q&A session with actress Elizabeth Olsen at the Jacob Burns Film Center at 7:30 p.m. The event is $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers.
SATURDAY
Pleasantville Famers Market in the Memorial Plaza Parking Lot at from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Hands on Egg Collecting course at the Stone Barns Center from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The event is $7.
Inside Tour, Stone Barns Center at 11 a.m. The event is $15 for adults and $9 for children.
Livestock Tour at Stone Barns Center at 12 p.m. The event is $10 for adults and $7 for children.
SUNDAY
M&M Productions Acting Company presents Mysterious Ladies at the Mount Pleasant Public Library at 2 p.m. The event is free.
