MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. Each week, there are committee and board meetings held in Mount Pleasant. These meetings are open to the public and are ways for residents to learn more about current happenings and to stay involved in the community. Here is a list of what is scheduled to take place this week.
On Tuesday, the Mount Pleasant Town Board will hold a public work session at Town Hall in Valhalla at 8 p.m. An agenda for this meeting has not yet been posted.
On Wednesday, the Mount Pleasant Planning Board will meet at 8 p.m. at Town Hall in Valhalla. On the agenda for this meeting is an application to modify a warehouse on Saw Mill River Road in Hawthorne and an application to approve an auto repair service station at 235 Marble Avenue in Thornwood.
Also on Wednesday night, the Mount Pleasant Central School District Board of Education will hold a regular meeting at 8 p.m. in the Westlake High School library. An agenda for this meeting has not yet been posted.
On Thursday, the Mount Pleasant Architectural Review Board will meet at Town Hall in Valhalla at 8 p.m. On the agenda for this meeting is exterior and interior renovations to Tinos Restaurant in Hawthorne and installation of a new sign at New Broadway Spa in Valhalla.
The Mount Pleasant Central School District will hold a community budget forum meeting on Thursday night in the Westlake High School library. The forum will begin at 8 p.m. and is open to the public. Community members are encouraged to attend as the event will be a key informational session about the current budget drafting process.
