The event will take place at the Westchester Community College Gateway Center, 75 Grasslands Road, Valhalla, from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Women-owned businesses have been invited to showcase their products and/or services free of charge during a mini-expo and networking reception following the forum.

“This forum will be focused on the critical stages and resources in a business’s life, what you need to know when beginning a startup and how these issues specifically affect women,” said Borgia.

Among those expected to address the forum are Scorpio Rogers, professor of business at Westchester Community College and founder and Managing Principal of Entrepreneurial Consultants, LLC, a management consulting firm for startup and growing entrepreneurial businesses; and Deborah Milone, Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce executive director, formerly the vice president of sales and marketing for Guide Communications and publisher of the Peekskill/Cortlandt Herald.
