The WCCF will receive the award at an all-day fundraising conference at the DoubleTree Hilton, 455 South Broadway, Tarrytown.
The event, starting at 7:45 a.m., is being held as part of AFP's National Philanthropy Day. It features internationally recognized experts in philanthropy and offers a wide range of workshops and educational programming.
Keynote speakers at the conference include Kenneth Berger, CEO of Charity Navigator, a global charity rating organization and Laura Fredricks, best-selling author and media personality.
The WCCF is nationally recognized as a leader in community college fundraising, and its Board of Directors is the force behind this success. Westchester Community College Foundation raises approximately $5 million dollars annually in support of student scholarships and other college needs not met by public funds.
