MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. A recent survey lists 61 doctors from Westchester Medical Center in the top 187 doctors in Westchester County for 2011.
The Westchester Medical Center doctors, representing 37 different fields and specialties, make up nearly 30 percent of the list. The survey is published in Westchester Magazines November 2011 issue.
According to the Westchester Medical Center, Castle Connelly Medical Ltd., a research and publishing firm compiled the list. The firm surveyed doctors, nurses and hospital administrators asking them which doctors they would recommend. After the names were submitted, certifications were verified and the list was created.
The full list of all doctors and surgeons made can be viewed on the Westchester Medical Centers web site.
Westchester Medical Center has more than 900 physicians and 3,300 healthcare professionals. The center serves more than 120,000 patients each year.
