MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. Thirty four Westlake High School students earned AP scholar awards for their achievement on Advanced Placement Program exams. The awards were given to members of the class of 2011 and the class of 2012 by the College Boards. Three students at Westlake qualified for the National AP Scholar Award by scoring a grade of four or higher on a five-point scale on all AP exams taken and a grade of four or higher on eight or more AP exams. Those students were Alexis Carra, Jeffrey Chellis and Michael Diamond. Six students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by achieving an average score of 3.5 on all AP Exams and grades of three or higher on five or more AP Exams. These students were Carra, Chellis, Diamond, Kohar Bedonian, Nicole Ederer and Lindsey Pasieka. The other 28 students recognized for AP achievement include Mike Falco, Mitch Guido, Kevin John, Megan Maher, Myra Sharabun, Dennis Voronin, Brian Addorisio, Joseph Callagy, Jody Caponera, Nicholas Cevallos, Nicholas Coppola, Kristina Dalton, Garrick Donnelly, Jasmine George, Meaghan Glendon, Sarah Gruber, Hitomi Inoue, Jason Kuttiyara, Shannon Lalli, Stephen Leone, Antonio Maric, Daniel Miserendino, Paul Muratore, Alexandra Picano, Alanna Powers, Nicholas Scotti, Justin Thomas, and Gabriella Zappa.
