THORNWOOD, N.Y. – Plant sales, story time and a Mother’s Day celebration highlight this weekend’s events in Mount Pleasant.
Friday, May 11
Floorworks Deluxe Course: 9:15 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. Floorworks Deluxe course at the Mount Pleasant Community Center in Valhalla, hosted by instructor Margaret Cunzio. $3 entrance fee. 125 Lozza Drive.
Toddler Time: 10:15 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. Toddler story time at the Mount Pleasant Public Library in Pleasantville allows toddlers to enjoy reading through finger plays, songs and other activities. Free and open to the public. 350 Bedford Road.
Saturday, May 12
Pleasantville Garden Club Annual Plant Sale: 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Perennials, annual herbs, baskets and gift items will be available at the annual plant sale. Held in the Memorial Plaza parking lot, 42 Memorial Plaza, Pleasantville.
Sunday, May 13
Mother’s Day Celebration: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Mother’s Day celebration at the Stone Barns Center in Pocantico Hills will include plant potting, tours and many other activities. The farmers market and spring plant sale will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. 630 Bedford Road, Pocantico Hills.
