VALHALLA, N.Y. – Here is a list of what is scheduled to take place during this holiday week in Mount Pleasant, including government meetings and community happenings.

Tuesday, July 3

Kensico Dam Fireworks: The Westchester County Parks Department will host its annual fireworks display Tuesday for the Fourth of July at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla.  Pre-show entertainment will begin at 6 p.m. and the fireworks are scheduled to go off around 9 p.m. Admission and parking is free and visitors are advised to bring their own chairs or blankets for seating. North Broadway, Valhalla.

Wednesday, July 4

Town Hall Closed: The Mount Pleasant Town Hall in Valhalla will be closed all day Wednesday for the holiday. All activities will return during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on July 5. 1 Town Hall Plaza, Valhalla.

Thursday, July 5

Historical Society Meeting: 7 p.m. The Mount Pleasant Historical Society will hold a regular public meeting on Thursday at Town Hall in Valhalla. 1 Town Hall Plaza, Valhalla.
