What's Open/Closed On Presidents Day In Mount Pleasant

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - On this Presidents Day, many places around Pleasantville will be closed in observance of the holiday. Here is a list to help you find out what will be closed Monday.

Mount Pleasant Town Hall will be closed. The Police Department Headquarters on the bottom floor of the building will be open for residents.

All schools within the Mount Pleasant Central School District and the Valhalla School District will be closed all week. Schools will reopen Feb. 25.

The Mount Pleasant Public Library in Pleasantville and the branch location in Valhalla will be closed. Books that are due should be dropped off in the shoot located near the front door of the building.

All post offices will be closed Monday. Home mail delivery is suspended until Tuesday.

Metro-North will operate on a Saturday schedule. Hudson Rail Link, the Newburgh-Beacon Ferry and the Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry will not operate, according to the Metro-North website.

The Jacob Burns Film Center and the Hawthorne Multiplex will be open Monday. A list of the movies scheduled to be shown at the Jacob Burns can be found here , and here for the Hawthorne Multiplex.
