THORNWOOD, N.Y. Agnes Carravone of Thornwood died July 13 at her home. She was 78.
Born March 15, 1934, in White Plains, she was the daughter of Sante and Louise Nigro Spadaccia. Carravone is survived by her husband of 58 years, Mark Carravone; three daughters, Louise Carravone, of Rye Brook, Kathy (Robert) Marano. of Thornwood, and Debbie (Robert) Carravone-Haugh, of Boone, N.C.; a sister, Stella (Guy) DeVito, of Old Saybrook, Conn.; two grandchildren and two sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Joan Generazzo.
Calling hours were held Sunday at Hawthorne Funeral Home. A funeral Mass was celebrated Monday morning at Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne.
