WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Alice Frances Tanzer Levasseur of White Plains died Nov. 27. She was 92.
Born Aug. 27, 1920, Levasseur worked for AT&T in White Plains until her retirement. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church and was an active participant at the Mount Pleasant Senior Center. She enjoyed traveling, making frequent trips to the casino, bowling, playing bingo and spending time with her many friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Henry. She is survived by two sons, Roger and Norman; and six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at McMahon, Lyon and Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Evangelist Church in White Plains. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in White Plains.
