THORNWOOD, N.Y. -- Barbara Marie Metzler of Thornwood died Nov. 21. She was 85.
Metzler was born May 14, 1928, in NYC, to Alvin and Grace Pataki.
Metzler is survived by her children, Gail Gualtiere, Kurt (Pam) Metzler and Gary (Beth) Metzler; seven grandchildren; and her great-grandchildren. Her husband, John Metzler, died earlier.
Calling hours are Saturday, Nov. 30, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Hawthorne Funeral Home, Hawthorne. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at the Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne. Interment at the Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association (of Westchester County) in Metzler's name.
