HAWTHORNE, N.Y. – Dolores “Dolly” Kurucz McGrath, 83, of Hawthorne, died Wednesday, Feb. 25.
She retired from Verizon after more than 30 years of service and then became a certified real estate agent.
She was a member of the Pioneers Club and a Eucharistic minister at St. Mary's Church in Yonkers.
Survivors include two daughters, Cathleen and Peggy; one son, Timothy (Gayle); one sister, Patricia (Bill) Larkin; close family member, Mark Daria; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Arthur McGrath; her daughter, Patricia; and two sisters, Theresa (Richard) Sohanchyk and Barbara (Al) Bornn, are deceased.
Calling hours will be 2-7 p.m. Sunday, March 1, at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, 20 Cedar St., Bronxville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:45 a.m. Monday, March 2, at the Church of St. Joseph, 15 Cedar St., Bronxville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Ave., Hawthorne, NY 10532.
