THORNWOOD, N.Y. – Dolores Briante, of Thornwood, died on June 23. She was 87.
Briante was born on March 3, 1928, to Anthony and Lecia Briante in White Plains/
She worked in New York University's Graduate School of Business for nearly 50 years. The university named a dean's suite after her upon retirement in December 1994.
She is survived by a brother Anthony and his wife Pamela.
She was predeceased by a brother, Rocco and her sister, Elizabeth.
Visiting hours are on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Hawthorne Funeral Home.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church in Valhalla.
Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Greenburgh.
