NEW FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Doris Stangl of New Fairfield, formerly of Hawthorne, N.Y. She was 83.
Stangl was a former member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Hawthorne, N.Y.
Stangl is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Timothy) Jagemann of New Fairfield; son, Joseph Stangl and partner, Ed Brown of Fairfield; and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Stangl.
Calling hours are Monday, Dec. 30 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, New Fairfield. Burial to follow in Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
