Edward M. Reiner, Jr., 53, Of Valhalla, Owned Plumbing Business

VALHALLA, N.Y. - Edward M. Reiner, Jr. of Valhalla and New Milford, Conn., died Sept. 29. He was 53.

Reiner was born Oct. 6, 1960, in Yonkers, to Jo Ann (Marra) Reiner of Valhalla and New Milford, Conn., and Edward M. Reiner, Sr. He grew up in Valhalla. He went on to serve in the United States Army Rangers. He was a plumber by trade and started his own business while in Connecticut remodeling bathrooms and kitchens.

Reiner is survived by his mother, Jo Ann; brother, Thomas (Cheryl) Reiner of New Fairfield, Conn.; cousins, Patricia and Anthony DiDomenico of Danbury, Conn.; and a nephew. He was predeceased by his father, Edward; and brother, Robert "Rick" Reiner.

Calling hours are Sunday, Oct. 5 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 6 at St. Peter Church, Danbury, with the Rev. Gregg Mecca, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla at the convenience of the family.
