Frank P. Prisciantelli, 102, Former Thornwood Resident

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – Frank P. Prisciantelli, of Briarcliff Manor and formerly of Mount Vernon and Thornwood, died Friday, Jan. 8. He was 102.

He was born Dec. 23, 1913, to the late Angelo and Vincenza Prisciantelli in New York City. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a retired expert carpenter and a member of the Empire Carpenters Union in Fishkill. He was a devoted family man.

He is survived by his daughter, Roseann (Joseph) Racioppo of Thornwood; and two granddaughters, Vanessa Racioppo (Joseph Rodriguez) and Jeanine Racioppo.

He was predeceased by his wife, Jean (Maresco) Prisciantelli in 1986; and seven siblings.

Reposing will take place Monday, Jan. 11, from 6-9 p.m. at Hawthorne Funeral Home, 21 W. Stevens Ave., Hawthorne. A funeral Mass will take place Tuesday, Jan. 12, at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 170 Bradhurst Ave., Hawthorne. Interment will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson.
