HAWTHORNE, N.Y. - Giovanna Ciccione Casatelli of Hawthorne died June 25. She was 89.
Casatelli was born Nov.3, 1923, to Lorenzo and Serafina Ciccione in Selvacava, Italy.
Casatelli is survived by her children, Frank (Maria) Casatelli of Hawthorne and Valentina (Michele) Fiumara of Watermill; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Michele Casatelli.
Calling hours are Thursday, June 27 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hawthorne Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, June 28 at the Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne. Entombment at the Ferncliff Mausoleum, Hartsdale.
