MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- Grace Darling Imray, of Valhalla, died Oct. 10. She was 88.
Born in Quincy, Mass., she earned a B.A. in women's studies at the age of 62. She went on to get her M.A. in psychology in 2004 at the age of 78.
She was a homemaker for much of her life. For many years, she co-chaired a women's cancer group, as she was a cancer survivor.
She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Claudia and Robert Sandy of East Hartland Conn., Robin Imray and Russell Wellen of Tarrytown and Alison Murphy-Siebrecht and Irving Siebrecht of Tarrytown and Brewster. She also is survived by three grandchildren and one great-grandchild
Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Dwyer & Vanderbilt Funeral Home, 90 N. Broadway, Tarrytown. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Interment will be at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
