VALHALLA, N.Y. – Irene Murphy, 88, of Valhalla, died Tuesday, March 31.
She was born Oct. 8, 1926, in New York City, to the late Constante and Sophie Zielinski.
Murphy retired from Craft General Foods in White Plains, where she had worked as a secretary.
Survivors include one son, Wade Murphy of Valhalla; one sister, Paula Lyons; and several nephews.
Her husband, John “Jack” Murphy, preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 80 Commerce St., Hawthorne.
There will be no calling hours.
