SOMERS, N.Y. — Italo "Eddie" Amodio, 92, of Somers and formerly of Hawthorne, died Saturday, Jan. 31.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Kitty, their three children, Michael, Julia Prete and Edward; his four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was a veteran who proudly served during World War II, being part of the invasion of Normandy during D-Day.
Services will be held at the Beecher Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville on Thursday, Feb. 5, at 11 a.m. Internment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Rosary Hill Home at 600 Linda Ave. in Hawthorne or Hospice Care in Westchester & Putnam at 540 White Plains Road, Suite 300 in Tarrytown.
