THORNWOOD, N.Y. - James W. Boyce, Jr. of Thornwood died Nov. 21. He was 50.
Boyce was born Oct. 6, 1963, to James and Angelina (nee Vitale) Boyce in Peekskill. He was with the local 21 Steamfitters Union in Peekskill and was a field superintendent with AMX Mechanical Corp. in Pleasantville.
Boyce is survived by his parents; wife, Laura (nee Massello) Boyce; children, Jesse, Jillian and Brandon Boyce all of Thornwood; sister, Debra Nicola of Hyde Park; parents-in-laws, Diane and John Cappelli of Thornwood; and in-laws, Christine, Frankie and Michael Massello.
Calling hours are Monday, Nov. 25 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Hawthorne Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26 at the Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne. Interment at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
