HAWTHORNE, N.Y. — Hawthorne resident Jean M. Macilvane died on Sunday, May 15. She was 79.
She was born on Oct.1, 1936, to Thomas and Lillian Hannon in the Bronx.
Macilvane was a retired teachers aide with Hawthorne Cedar Knolls School in Hawthorne.
She is survived by a son, Mark Macilvane; her grandchildren, Nicole, Jennifer, Kristen and Riley; her brother, Thomas "Skip" and his wife Patricia Hannon.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lester W. Macilvane, and a son, Scott Macilvane.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, in Hawthorne on Thursday, May 19 at 12:30 p.m.
