John Di Marco, 75, Of Valhalla, Owned Di Marco’s Cake & Pastry Shop

VALHALLA, N.Y. - John Di Marco of Valhalla died June 30. He was 75.

Di Marco was born Oct.21, 1937, to Francesco and Grazia Di Marco in NYC. He was owner operator of Di Marco's Cake and Pastry Shop in Thornwood, retiring in 1989.

Di Marco is survived by his wife, Barbara (nee Latona) Di Marco of Valhalla: children, Frank (Donna) Di Marco of Pleasantville and Francine (Willie) Vallejo of Briarcliff Manor; sister, Lucille (Joseph) Schepis of Bronx; four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents.

Calling hours are Monday, July 1 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, July 2 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Hawthorne Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 3 at the  Holy Innocents Church, Pleasantville. Entombment in Ferncliff Mausoleum, Hartsdale.
