Justine Palazzo, 84, Owned Hawthorne Travel Agency

HAWTHORNE, N.Y. – Justine Palazzo of Hawthorne died Sunday, Oct. 7, at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. She was 84. 

Palazzo was born Aug. 7, 1928, in Waterloo, N.Y., to Joseph and Clara May Bishop Bressy. She was co-owner of Tally Ho Travel of Hawthorne, formerly of Elmsford. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Dominick L. Palazzo, in 2005. She is survived by a daughter, Debra (Dennis McCarthy) Palazzo, of Hartsdale; a son, Dee (Norma) Palazzo, of Yorktown Heights; a brother, William Nelson, of California; a sister, Susanne Smith, of Indiana; and two grandchildren. 

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hawthorne Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
