THORNWOOD, N.Y. – Leo "Larry" Horan, formerly of Thornwood, died Oct. 4. He was 55. 

Born Sept. 23, 1957, in Scarsdale, he was the son of Joan and Leo Horan Sr. of Thornwood. He graduated from Westlake High School and lived in Thornwood before moving to Sarasota, Fla., where he worked in construction. 

He is survived by three children, Michael, Kelsy and Jennifer Horan; three sisters, Virginia Horan-Papaioannou, Nina Horan-Barr, and Lisa Horan-Mastromonaco; and two brothers, Robert A. Horan and Michael T. Horan. 

A memorial wake will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hawthorne Funeral Home.
