HAWTHORNE, N.Y. - Marion F. Foetsch of Hawthorne died Oct. 4. She was 87.
Foetsch was born Aug. 30, 1927, to George Casper and Eva Foetsch in the Bronx. She was a longtime member of the 3rd Order of St. Dominic and her professed name was Sr. Mary Francis Dominic. She worked for many years at the Jennie Clarkson Home in North White Plains and later was a secretary at Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne.
Foetsch is survived by niece, Veronica Conover of Biddeford, Maine. She was predeceased by her parents; and two sisters.
Calling hours are Friday, Oct. 10 from 10 to 11:15 a.m. at the Hawthorne Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10 at Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne. Interment at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Rosary Hill Home, Hawthorne or Calvary Hospital, Bronx.
