VALHALLA, N.Y. -- Martha Jean Frary, 76, of Valhalla died on Monday, Feb. 16, at Genesis Healthcare Madison House in Madison, Conn.
Frary was born on Dec. 13, 1938, to the late Robert J. and Ruth Ann (nee Trott) Wells in Mount Vernon, Ohio. She was a graduate of Ohio State University and a teacher in the Valhalla Public School District for more than 35 years until her retirement.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Frary; her brothers, Robert Wells Jr. and David Wells; and sister, Carolyn Hagedorn. She is survived by her children, Cynthia Jean Frary McNamara and her husband, Robert, of Guilford, Conn., and John Eugene Frary II and his wife, Tammy, of Valhalla. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Emily Noel Frary and Katelyn, Luke, Mark, and Megan Frary McNamara.
A memorial service will be held at Valhalla United Methodist Church on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, send donations to Valhalla United Methodist Church, Valhalla, NY 10595.
