VALHALLA, N.Y. – Melba L. Thomas of Valhalla died Aug. 15. She was 92.
Born June 24, 1920, Thomas was a longtime and active member of the Church of St. Bartholomew as well as the Woman's Club of White Plains. She worked as an executive assistant at NBC in Manhattan for many years.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home in White Plains. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Tuesday, at St. Bartholomew's Church in White Plains. Burial will take place at the Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, N.Y.
