VALHALLA, N.Y. — Michael J. Raum, a lifelong Valhalla resident, died peacefully March 22. He was 60.
Raum was born in New York City to Henry and Catherine Raum, and was a carpenter by trade.
He was predeceased by his parents, sister-in-law Sharon and nephew Michael, and is survived by his wife Barbara, children John, Kevin, and Jessica Raum, siblings Catherine Nittoli and her husband Dennis, Peggy Carroll and her husband Richard, Chris and his wife Joyce, Hank Raum, Willy and his wife Patty, Mary Moran and her husband Chris, and 23 nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hawthorne Funeral Home and funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or to the SPCA of Westchester.
