THORNWOOD, N.Y. - Rose Longo of Thornwood died Oct. 23. She was 92.
Longo was born Jan. 6, 1922, to Santo and Loretta (nee Zambri) Picinelli in White Plains. She was a retired bookkeeper with Hawthorne Lumber.
Longo is survived by her sisters, Natalie Dennin of Manchester, Conn., and Loretta (John) Cavaliere of Thornwood; brother, Louis (Betty) Picinelli of Thornwood; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Joseph Longo; sister, Ann Altamuro; and brother, Dominick Picinelli.
Calling hours are Monday, Oct. 27 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Hawthorne Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27 at the Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne. Interment at the Mt.Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh.
