MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- Roy A. Salanitro, a former Valhalla resident, died Wednesday, Feb. 4. He was 94.
He is survived by his wife, Carla (Ansalone) Salanitro; his children, Anne (Edward) Mennona, Alfred (Teresa) Salanitro and Francine (Robert) Kenny. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours are Friday, Feb. 6, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home Inc. in Pleasantville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Feb. 7, at 10 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church in Valhalla. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Rosary Hill Home or St. Cabrini Nursing.
