VALHALLA, N.Y. - Ruth Loring Doria of Valhalla died Oct. 31. She was 81.
Doria was born March 19, 1933, to William and Christina Loring in New Haven, Conn. She was a teacher for a year at the Thornwood Elementary School in 1956.
Doria is survived by her husband, Vincent Doria of Valhalla; children, Frank (Christine) Doria of Rye Brook, V. Paul (Nicole) Doria-Rose of Kensington, Maryland and Janet Ruth (David) Marceau of Montreal, Canada; brother, William, Jr. (Linda) Loring of Yalesville, Conn.; and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; and sisters, Marjorie Coe and Evelyn King.
Calling hours are Thursday, Nov. 6 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hawthorne Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6 at the Grace Episcopal Church, White Plains. Interment will be private.
