Thomas A. Morzello, 76, Valhalla Resident

VALHALLA, N.Y. -- Valhalla resident Thomas A. Morzello died on Wednesday, Feb 10. He was 76.

Born in White Plains, Morzello served proudly in the U.S. Army from 1960-1963 as a Specialist Fourth Class, in the transportation division.

He was a licensed master electrician for over 45 years in IBEW Local 501 and Local 3, and worked for Belway Electric. Morzello was an avid boater, hunter and automobile enthusiast.

He is survived by his loving wife Christina "Dina" (Belmont) Morzello; sons Thomas of Garrison, Stephen of Carmel, Anthony of North White Plains, Christopher of Valhalla; brother Andrew Morzello of White Plains; grandchildren Nicolette, Thomas, Christian, Ashleigh, Sean, Sophia and Jack Morzello; mother-in-law Filomena Belmont; brothers-in-law Michael and Ron Belmont; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Morzello was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Mary (Luchi) Morzello.

Visiting hours will be from 3-9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12, at Hawthorne Funeral Home, 21 W. Stevens Ave., in Hawthorne. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13, at Holy Name of Jesus Church, in Valhalla. Interment will follow, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Greenburgh.
