A teenager received a harsh reminder to clear the snow off his car following a storm.
Officers on patrol from the New Canaan Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop of Bedford resident Nathan Spiro, 19, shortly after 7 p.m. on Wednesday when he was spotted with snow obstructing his view while stopped at the traffic light at the intersection of New Norwalk Road and Locust Avenue.
During the subsequent stop, it was determined that Spiro was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Spiro was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, an infraction. He was also issued a verbal warning for failing to clear his windshield of the snow. Spiro is due to answer the charge later this month.
