Car Smashed and Slashed in Pleasantville

VALHALLA, N.Y. – A Pleasantville resident’s Honda Civic was severely damaged on Monday, June 18, while it was parked in her driveway, Mount Pleasant police said.

A woman in The Knoll area of Pleasantville reported to the police about 3:30 p.m. that her car’s rear windshield had been smashed with a large rock, all four tires had been slashed, and the passenger side had been keyed along the length of the car.

Mount Pleasant police are investigating the incident, and no arrest has been made.

Order of Protection Violated: Police responded to a 911 hang-up about 8:30 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at a residence on Pheasant Run in Pleasantville. Nicole Taub, 22, of Pleasantville was arrested after she was found to be in violation of a criminal order of protection, police said. Taub was charged with criminal contempt and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors; and disorderly conduct, a violation.

Stolen Wallet: About 8:30 a.m. Monday a Pleasantville resident reported that her wallet had been stolen while she was swimming laps at the Mount Pleasant Town Pool.

Auto Parts Stolen: About 11 a.m. Monday around $250 worth of car rims and suspension parts were reported stolen from outside S&L Collision Center in Hawthorne.
